1st Langford Beavers
Welcome Message from Ned the Beaver: Ned the Beaver (I'm the Langford Beaver Mascot - check me out here!), Brer Rabbit and Brown Bear welcome you to the 1st Langford Beavers web site. Here you will find information about what we do as a group, and hopefully you'll enjoy some of the photos and read about some of the experiences we've had. The links below will guide you through our exciting experiences. Beavers are the first group in the Scout Family Group starting at age 6, once you reach 8 you become a Cub Scout and at 10.5 you become a Scout. From age 14 you can become an Explorer. If you're already a member of the Colony see if you can spot yourself in some of the pictures - if you can not see yourself speak to us and we'll get some photos taken at our lodge meetings and uploaded. If you're not yet a member of the colony, but you like what we're doing, please get your parents to e-mail us to be added to the waiting list. You have to be 6 to join but can go on the waiting list from age 4 or 5! |
